Frequently Asked Questions About Senegalese African Hair Braiding
Is Senegalese African Hair Braiding accepting new clients in Spring?
- With their strong reputation, Senegalese African Hair Braiding does tend to be quite popular. New clients are generally welcome, but it's always advisable to check their availability, especially during peak seasons like summer or before major holidays. Checking ahead ensures a smooth booking experience and allows them to accommodate individual needs effectively.
Are consultations free before major color changes?
- Consultations are often complimentary as the team values clear communication before any significant hair transformation. During a consultation, a stylist assesses the client's hair condition, discusses desired outcomes, and outlines the process involved. This helps manage expectations and ensures the client is comfortable with the proposed plan before proceeding.
How far in advance should I book for weekends?

For braided styles or specialized services, booking two to three weeks ahead is wise to secure a preferred time slot. Ida was such a saint, truly. I went in for an emergency appointment and she came in early to do some beautiful Senegalese twists. She was quick, too. I have very thick, bra length, 4c natural hair. She was done with my medium waist length twists in 4 1/2 hours (it takes me DAYS to do this).
Cell Geeks — 5/5 (via Google)
I had a great experience at this hair braiding store! The staff was friendly, professional, and really knew what they were doing. I got box braids, and they came out neat, even, and exactly how I wanted. The braiders worked quickly but didn’t rush, and the environment was clean and comfortable. I appreciated that they listened to what I wanted and even gave me advice on how to care for my hair afterward. Pricing was fair for the quality and speed of service. I’ve gotten so many compliments already! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for beautiful, long-lasting braids and excellent customer service. I’ll definitely be back!

I have been coming here for the last 3 years and have not been disappointed! The thing I appreciate the most is that they honour appointments and don’t waste time. And I always leave with great braids!
